From Seefeld we will go by bus to Scharnitz where the first part of our walk takes us along a wide forest path to the ‘Pürzlplateau’. Then we will cross the gorge at the foot of the Brunnstein (2179 m) and head for the Gasthof Wiesenhof (possible refreshment stop) before making our way back to Scharnitz along the Isar via the Wurzelsteig.

We will learn and consolidate our technique on a circular tour of the lake, the Wildsee, and finish with some Kneipp water therapy in the lovely Kneipp park by the lake.

We will go by tractor through the Gleirschtal to „Möslalm“. The more confident hikers can accompany our walking guide and see the gorge close up. GORGE WALK ONLY FOR SURE - FOOTED GUESTS WITH NO FEAR OF HEIGHTS! MOUNTAIN BOOTS REQUIRED! Those who prefer something more leisurely can take the tractor to the Möslalm where the group will meet up for lunch.

The Gaistal with its alms, refuges and lakes is one of the jewels of the Seefeld high plateau. This gentle circular walk in the Gaistal, at the foot of the Hohe Munde, goes along the Leutascher Ache as far as the Gaistalalm, where we‘ll make a break for lunch to prepare for the ways back along the Ganghofer path to the Hämmermoosalm.

We will go by tractor trough the Gleirschtal to the Kristenalm. Experienced and sure-footed hikers can carry on further with our walking guide and go from the Kristenalm to the Solsteinhaus (1805m). HIKING SHOES; SURE-FOOTEDNESS AND STAMINA REQUIRED! Those guests who stay at the Kristenalm can go on a short circular walk with Josef who runs the alm.

We will walk up the forest path as far as the Hocheggalm at 1545m. Height difference: 315 m. From there we have a fabulous view of the surrounding mountains. After a relaxing refreshment stop we will return to Seefeld via the old Rosshütte path. Moderate stamina and mountain boots required!
